Lee Brady

Lee is a programme director and delivery manager based in Bath. Since 2021 he has been programme director, through Studio BDY, on the delivery of a new capability for one of the UK's leading mobile operators. Before that: senior programme and engagement roles with technology and consulting firms, and twelve years as a consulting director delivering transformation programmes for major UK telecoms operators, from governance and PMO leadership to third-party and vendor management and the production running of a national inventory platform.

Earlier still, five years on site with mobile operators across Europe as a technical account manager and project manager, and a start as an engineer. He holds a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bath.

Alongside the programme work, Studio BDY takes on freelance Excel and automation projects for clients in many industries and several countries, and builds bespoke iPhone and iPad apps. The Excel habit goes back a long way: the KPI tooling for that national inventory platform was Excel VBA, written to make the performance of a whole solution stack visible to the people who had to fix it.

Directly. Engagements are with Lee, not a bench. The first conversation is about where you are and what done looks like; the scope, cadence and governance are agreed up front; then the work is hands-on and embedded with your team, remote or on site in the UK.

Sectors for programme delivery: telecoms, pharma and the public sector. Excel and small-business work has been for clients across many industries, delivered remotely to several countries.

On AI: Studio BDY uses it every day to run its own admin, and brings that experience to small businesses. The rule is the same everywhere it is applied: the tools draft, monitor and prepare; a person decides and sends.
